XML Sitemap Generator
Turn an exact URL inventory into clean sitemap XML. Resolve site paths, add only metadata you trust, remove duplicates, and see line-by-line problems before you publish.
● Private by design — no URLs are uploaded or crawledBuild your sitemap
Paste up to 50,000 rows. Plain URLs work; optional columns let you provide truthful metadata for individual pages.
Validated output
Accepted rows appear here after generation. Rejected rows never enter the XML.

Use the file with accurate signals
A valid sitemap helps discovery, but it is not a request to index every page and it does not override canonical, robots, or noindex rules.
Before generating
- Include final, canonical HTTP or HTTPS URLs you want search engines to discover.
- Leave out redirects, error pages, duplicates, and intentionally noindexed URLs.
- Use
lastmodonly for meaningful changes you can verify.
What validation means
This page checks URL syntax, metadata values, equivalent duplicates, one-origin consistency, XML escaping, and file limits. It does not contact your site, so it cannot verify status codes, canonical tags, robots.txt, or indexability.
Publish and submit
Upload the file, usually at /sitemap.xml, then submit its URL in Search Console or add the shown directive to robots.txt. This single-file builder keeps one exact origin; generate a separate file per origin rather than relying on advanced cross-site submission. Read the Sitemaps protocol and Google’s guidance.
Limits: the sitemap XML Schema requires each URL to contain 12–2,048 characters, while the protocol describes loc as shorter than 2,048 characters; this tool conservatively accepts 12–2,047. One file allows 50,000 URLs and 50 MB uncompressed. This browser tool accepts that full row ceiling, with a 5,000,000-character input bound for predictable local performance. Split a larger inventory and create a sitemap index in your publishing workflow.
